On July 15, the city of Ulsan held a press conference to commemorate its inscription as a World Heritage site and announced that it will implement twenty-two core projects across five strategic areas. Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom stated, "Inscription as a World Heritage site marks the starting point for Ulsan to transform from the 'industrial capital' into a global cultural city," adding, "We will develop the Bangudae Petroglyphs into a convergence space where culture, tourism, and industry come together, making Ulsan a sustainable city of the future."

In the field of "World Heritage Branding and International Cooperation," the city will work on establishing a world heritage city image, producing slogan designs, developing content, souvenirs, and promotional projects, joining the LHC member cities, and building a dedicated system for research and facility operations.

In the area of "Cultural Tourism Revitalization," Ulsan plans to construct the Bangudae World Petroglyph Center, which will encompass exhibition, education, and research functions, as well as create an experiential theme park. Additional initiatives include developing a lifestyle tourism-oriented cultural village, operating the "Bangudae Starlight and Sunshine Tour" ecological walking program, and establishing symbolic facilities to showcase the natural scenery of Bangudae.

The "Bangudae Network Establishment" field will focus on strengthening transportation and accessibility, building visitor trails and bicycle paths, integrating heritage tours centered around Bangudae, establishing a unified interpretation and guidance system that connects on-site and digital devices, and creating symbolic spaces linked throughout the city.

In the area of "Heritage Value Dissemination and Education Enhancement," the city will revise textbook content, host academic conferences, develop digital content, expand customized heritage education, and build an integrated platform for heritage research and education. In the "Sustainable Preservation and Management System" field, Ulsan will establish a real-time preservation and management system based on digital technology, introduce a systematic management system by experts and a voluntary participation system for citizens, institutionalize and regularly conduct Heritage Impact Assessments (HIA) in accordance with international standards, and strengthen the training of preservation specialists and research support.
