Relay On-Site Visits Continue After Meetings with Medical, Nursing, and Pharmaceutical Associations
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that on the 15th, Lee Hyunghoon, the 2nd Vice Minister, visited the Korea Alliance of Patient Organizations, the Korean Health and Medical Workers’ Union, the National Medical Industry Labor Union Federation, and the Korea Alliance for Severe Disease, in succession, to listen to their suggestions.

This on-site visit was arranged to fully consider the opinions of related organizations throughout the entire process of establishing healthcare policies. Vice Minister Lee stated, "We will thoroughly gather on-site feedback on policy issues and actively communicate and cooperate with each organization," and added, "We look forward to close cooperation with healthcare organizations to improve public health."
Since taking office last month, Vice Minister Lee has visited related organizations such as the Korean Medical Association, the Korean Hospital Association, the Korean Nurses Association, the Korean Dental Association, the Korean Pharmaceutical Association, and the Association of Korean Medicine as part of efforts to communicate on-site. On this day, he also met with labor unions in the medical field and patient organizations.
