Tire wear, air pressure, balance, and left-right deviation
Available at 26 TirePro dealerships and highway rest areas
Kumho Tire announced on July 15 that it will launch a 'Free Tire Inspection Campaign' starting on July 22.
This free inspection campaign was organized to give back to the local community for the support and encouragement received after the fire at the Gwangju plant, and to help ensure residents' safe driving during the summer vacation season.
During the free inspection, customers can receive a comprehensive check of their tires at no cost, including tire wear, air pressure, and balance, as well as vehicle drum temperature and left-right deviation. In addition, consultations on tire maintenance tips and precautions for driving will be available.
First, at the outdoor music stage of Gwangju City Hall, the campaign will be held for two days from July 22 to 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At TirePro dealerships located in the Gwangju area, free tire inspections will be available for ten days from July 22 to 31, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. A total of 26 TirePro dealerships will participate in this campaign.
For citizens who leave for vacation without having their tires checked, experts will also be dispatched to highway rest areas. From July 31 to August 1, booths will be set up at Gapyeong Rest Area (toward Chuncheon), Yeoju Rest Area (toward Gangneung), Jeongan Albam Rest Area (toward Suncheon), and Haman Rest Area (toward Suncheon). From 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., customers visiting these locations can receive free tire inspections.
A representative from Kumho Tire stated, "During the peak vacation season, it is essential to check tire air pressure and wear due to increased vehicle movement, unpredictable weather, and hot road surfaces," adding, "We have organized this free inspection campaign for residents inconvenienced by the fire incident, and we hope many people will take advantage of this opportunity."
