Only a Silver Medal in the Women's Team Event

The Hwasun County Office Badminton Team achieved outstanding results by winning the gold medal in the general division mixed doubles at a national tournament.
According to Hwasun County, from July 4 to July 13, 2025, at the Jeonbuk Iksan Indoor Gymnasium, the team won the gold medal in the general division mixed doubles and the silver medal in the women's team event at the 2025 Presidential Cup National Badminton Championships.
In the general division mixed doubles, Jung Naeun teamed up with Wang Chan of the Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps to win the title. In the women's team event, the team finished second after losing to Samsung Life.
Hwasun County Governor Koo Bokgyu stated, "The athletes gave their best and achieved excellent results despite the hot weather and a demanding schedule," and added, "We will continue to train hard and strive for good results to meet the expectations of our residents."
