Hana Card and MG Saemaeul Geumgo Launch PLCC "MG+S Hana Card"

Hana Card announced on July 15 that, in collaboration with MG Saemaeul Geumgo, it has launched the "MG+S Hana Card," its fourth private label credit card (PLCC) reflecting the latest consumer trends.

This card is designed to offer extensive benefits in areas that consumers frequently use, such as simple payment services, digital memberships, and online video streaming services (OTT).

It is characterized by its structure, which allows users to enjoy essential daily spending activities more efficiently and reasonably.

For simple payment services such as Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, Toss Pay, SSG Pay, 11Pay, and Smile Pay, users receive a 10% discount on their spending.

For digital memberships such as Naver Plus Membership, Coupang Wow Membership, and Kurly Members, users receive a 50% discount.

For OTT services such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney Plus, TVING, and Wavve, users receive a 50% discount on regular subscription payments.

The maximum monthly combined discount limit is applied differentially based on the previous month's card usage.

If the card usage in the previous month is between 300,000 KRW and less than 600,000 KRW, the maximum monthly discount is 15,000 KRW. For usage between 600,000 KRW and less than 1,000,000 KRW, the maximum monthly discount is 30,000 KRW. For usage of 1,000,000 KRW or more, the maximum monthly discount is 60,000 KRW. Transactions that receive discounts are also included in the calculation of usage performance.

The MG+S Hana Card can be issued at MG Saemaeul Geumgo branches nationwide. The annual fee is 17,000 KRW for both domestic-only and domestic/overseas combined cards.

There is also a promotional event. Until October, MG Saemaeul Geumgo investment members who receive the MG+ credit card for the first time and agree to marketing communications will receive an annual fee cashback benefit if they spend 100,000 KRW or more by the end of the month following the card issuance month.

During this month, prizes will be awarded through a drawing based on the cumulative spending amount on the MG+ credit card.
