Hyundai Transys published the "2025 Hyundai Transys Sustainability Management Report," which outlines its sustainability management strategy and key achievements, on July 15.
Since 2020, Hyundai Transys has released an annual sustainability management report to disclose its performance and future goals in the fields of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) to stakeholders.
The 2025 Hyundai Transys Sustainability Management Report consists of three sections: Sustainability Strategy, Sustainability Performance, and ESG Data.
In the Sustainability Strategy section, the company identified nine material issues that impact its business, including climate change response and energy management, strengthening new growth engines and technological innovation, and supply chain ESG management. The report describes the current status and strategies for addressing each issue. Hyundai Transys plans to realize environmental and social value by managing these material issues in connection with its product strategy.
The Sustainability Performance section details Hyundai Transys's financial and non-financial achievements in each ESG area. For the first time, the company disclosed its management of the financial impact of environmental issues and natural capital management performance, in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Based on analysis of the financial impact of environmental issues such as water supply interruptions and stricter regulations on the use of hazardous substances, the report introduces measures to minimize financial risks and strengthen competitiveness.
Finally, the ESG Data section contains detailed quantitative data on the ESG performance of Hyundai Transys's domestic and overseas business sites and subsidiaries over the past three years.
Baek Cheolseung, CEO of Hyundai Transys, stated, "Even amid growing internal and external uncertainties, Hyundai Transys will create future value and build a foundation for growth through unwavering sustainability management. We will establish a culture of practicing, not just declaring, sustainability management to secure fundamental competitiveness."
