"Faithfully Fulfilling the Role of a Responsible Corporation"

JW Holdings announced on July 15 that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) to strengthen its corporate sustainability management system to a global standard.

The UNGC, established by the United Nations, is a voluntary initiative that encourages companies to uphold ten principles across four areas: human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. It also urges participation in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Currently, more than 25,000 companies and organizations from 167 countries around the world are participating in the UNGC, and a variety of companies in South Korea have also joined to practice sustainable management.

Through this membership, JW Holdings has been officially recognized as a member of the UNGC. The company plans to introduce management principles based on the ten UNGC principles and the Sustainable Development Goals, and to reflect these principles in all business activities, thereby systematically strengthening its ESG capabilities.

A JW Holdings representative stated, "Joining the UNGC is a strategic decision to solidify our ESG management practices in line with global sustainability standards, based on JW's founding values of 'respect for life' and 'spirit of challenge.' We are committed to fulfilling our responsibilities as a corporate citizen demanded by the international community and to building trust with global stakeholders."
