Kang Junhyun, a member of the National Assembly from the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Sejong-eul), visited the hunger strike site of Yoon Byungchul, the head of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries branch of the National Public Officials Labor Union, who is on a hunger strike in protest against the relocation of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to Busan, on July 14. This is the first time that a Democratic Party-affiliated politician from Sejong City has visited the hunger strike site, which stands in contrast to the actions of city council members from his own party. Kang stated, "For a better future for the Republic of Korea, I will work together to consider the path that the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries should take."
