A Distribution Expert with Experience in Food and Restaurant Businesses at CJ
Genesis BBQ announced on July 14 that it has appointed Kim Jihoon, former management leader at CJ CheilJedang, as its new CEO (Photo by Genesis BBQ).

Born in 1972, Kim graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in aesthetics and earned a master's degree in marketing from Indiana University in the United States. He served as the management leader in charge of food exports at CJ CheilJedang from October 2022 to 2023.
A representative from Genesis BBQ stated, "Kim is a distribution expert who has overseen food and restaurant businesses at CJ Group, and we believe he is well-suited to enhance the brand value of BBQ."
