NH Investment & Securities is considering increasing the size of its corporate bond issuance after strong demand in its book-building process.
According to the financial investment industry on July 14, NH Investment & Securities (AA+) received orders totaling 1.3 trillion won for the 3-year tranche, which was initially set at 150 billion won, and 540 billion won for the 5-year tranche, which was initially set at 50 billion won.
NH Investment & Securities proposed a target interest rate range of ±30 basis points (1bp = 0.01 percentage point) compared to the individual average market rate, and successfully raised the targeted amounts at -12bp for the 3-year tranche and -14bp for the 5-year tranche.
Due to the strong demand, NH Investment & Securities is considering increasing the issuance by 100 billion won, bringing the total size of the corporate bond issuance to 300 billion won.
NH Investment & Securities plans to use the funds raised from this issuance to repay existing debt.
