Gwangju Bank announced on July 14 that it is holding the "Find the Alley Leader in Our Neighborhood!" event until November, where participants can vote for local attractions discovered from the perspective of the younger generation and also receive prizes.
This event is an interactive balance game themed around hidden attractions in the Gwangju area. Every Monday, two pieces of content are released on Gwangju WaBank, and participants can vote for one. If the content they select is chosen as the winner for that week, participants receive one "Lucky Card."
The Lucky Cards earned can be used to enter prize draws for rewards such as ▲Kyochon Banban Original Chicken with 1.25L Cola ▲GS25 10,000 KRW mobile voucher ▲Starbucks Americano ▲Carbo Buldak Bokkeum Myeon, offering both fun and rewards for participation.
The topics featured in the balance game are centered on local attractions personally discovered by Gwangju Bank's university student ambassadors. These include picnic spots, spaces ideal for reading, and hidden restaurants, all newly highlighted from the perspective of the younger generation. The bank expects that customer participation will not only increase interest in these local attractions but also lead to actual visits and consumption, creating a virtuous cycle.
Additionally, Gwangju Bank is also running the "Daily Allowance Event" until August 24. In this event, participants can complete up to four of six daily missions on Gwangju WaBank (including Life Benefits Collection, Product Mall Recommendations, Step Count Service, Arcade Service, Coupon Market Service, and Today's Fortune Service). Simply staying on the event page for 10 seconds allows participants to receive a real-time micro-reward ranging from 1 KRW to 10 KRW.
Anyone aged 14 or older can participate in the events. For more details, customers can visit a nearby branch, check Gwangju WaBank, the Gwangju Bank website, or contact the customer center.
Sun Jongyun, Head of the Digital Platform Department at Gwangju Bank, said, "We have organized this win-win project event to share our region's hidden attractions with many people and naturally promote local tourism and consumption. Going forward, Gwangju WaBank will continue to do its best to offer not only easy and fast financial services but also a variety of lifestyle benefit services that combine fun and rewards."
