Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS, announced on July 14 that it will introduce a new team next month. This will be the first boy group launch in six years since Tomorrow X Together debuted in 2019.
The new group consists of Martin, James, Juhoon, Sunghyun, and Gunho, and is scheduled to debut on August 18. All members are teenagers and form a "young creator crew" who create their own music, choreography, and videos. Rather than being limited to specific positions, the five members work together through a "joint creation" process.
Before their debut, the members participated in the music and choreography creation for senior HYBE artists. Martin is credited on Tomorrow X Together's "Deja Vu" and "Miracle (Miracles Happen Every Moment You and I Are Together)," as well as ILLIT's "Magnetic."
James contributed to the choreography for Tomorrow X Together's "Deja Vu" and ILLIT's "Magnetic," "Cherish (My Love)," and "Tick-Tack." Alongside Martin, he also worked on the songs "Deja Vu," "Miracle (Miracles Happen Every Moment You and I Are Together)," and "Magnetic."
