Anseong City to Open 'Child Love Playground' for Infants and Toddlers on July 15

Equipped with Various Play Facilities and Toys

Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on July 14 that it will begin a trial operation of the 'Anseong City Child Love Playground,' a play experience space for infants and toddlers, starting on the 15th.

The playground, located inside the Anseong City Family Center at 563 Oksan-dong and covering an area of 130 pyeong, consists of several zones: the Up-and-Down Adventure Yard, the Rolling Round Yard, the Fidgeting Playhouse Yard, the Sparkling Creativity Yard, the Chatting Imagination Yard, the Bustling Entertainment Yard, and a Toy Rental Shop.


This multi-level space features a pastel-toned, child-friendly indoor environment equipped with digital play equipment, a large composite play structure, a rotating Ferris wheel, a slide, and a variety of other play installations. It also offers 742 rental toys, program rooms, and a lounge.


The city plans to operate the playground on a trial basis until the end of this month, with official operations beginning next month. The facility will be open every Tuesday through Saturday, and those wishing to use it can make reservations through the 'Anseong City Childcare Support Center' website. There is an admission fee, and each session can accommodate up to 40 people. From July 18 to August 31, during the hottest part of the summer, the playground will also operate every Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Anseong City Childcare Support Center.


Meanwhile, in addition to the Child Love Playground, Anseong City operates a variety of programs and play spaces for infants and toddlers, including the Seobu-gwon Sang-sang Nuri Ddeul (at the Gongdo-eup Administrative Welfare Center), the Dongbu-gwon Free Playground (in Juksan-myeon), the Childcare Main Center (in Anseong 2-dong) Safety Experience Center, and the Mamdaero A+ Playground.
