Expected to Achieve Various Benefits Such as Shorter Transaction Times and Improved User Convenience
BNK Gyeongnam Bank has introduced an advanced system to make 'bancassurance'?insurance products sold by banks?more convenient for a wide range of customers.
On July 14, BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced that it has completed the 'Bancassurance System Reconstruction Project.'
This project focused on upgrading the outdated bancassurance system to significantly enhance customer convenience.
With the completion of the project, BNK Gyeongnam Bank expects to achieve various benefits, including reduced transaction times, improved user convenience through enhancements to the insurance sales and management processes, resolution of runtime errors related to insurance premium deposits, and batch scanning of documents with centralized storage of bank documents at the BPR Center.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank established its business plan and selected a vendor, then launched the project in September of last year, completing the phases of analysis and design, development, testing, launch, and stabilization.
Kim Hyungtae, Head of the Retail Customer Department, said, "With the completion of this system reconstruction project, we are now offering a stable, cloud web-based bancassurance system. We hope that many customers will be able to conveniently and easily use bancassurance through the newly upgraded system via mobile banking, internet banking, and our branches."
Meanwhile, through the BNK Gyeongnam Bank mobile banking app, customers can sign up for various insurance products, including protection-type, variable, and foreign currency insurance. Customers can also easily check, pay for, and review loans related to their existing insurance policies.
