Through Jebo Reward, users can report business hours and menus in the restaurant category and receive up to 400 points per location. To receive shopping points, users must first add the Kakao Map Talk Channel in advance.

To participate, tap the 'Report Point' button at the top of the Kakao Map app, select a candidate location, and suggest business hours or menu information that needs to be updated. For restaurants not yet registered on the map, users can suggest registration through the new place reporting feature by long-pressing the desired location. Jebo Reward is available after updating the Kakao Map app to the latest version (6.4.0).

To celebrate the launch, Kakao is holding an event from July 14 to 27. During the event period, users will receive an additional 1,000 points for their first approved report. Bonus shopping points are provided separately from the basic reward and will be distributed sequentially. The event may end early if the budget is exhausted. Users can check the approval status of their reports and point accumulation history in the My Tab section of the Kakao Map app.

Bang Kyunghwa, leader of Kakao Place Tribe, stated, "Jebo Reward was designed to improve the accuracy and timeliness of place information, and we structured it as a reward-based service so users can participate in a fun way in their daily lives." She added, "We plan to expand Jebo Reward to various industries beyond restaurants, and will continue to provide richer and more reliable place information."
