Cheongyang County in South Chungcheong Province has taken another step toward becoming a stay-type tourist city, as its busking program at tourist attractions?launched to mark the "Year of Tourism City Development"?concluded successfully amid an enthusiastic response from visitors.

According to the county on July 14, performances held at major attractions in Cheongyang, including Chilgapsan Natural Recreation Forest, Cheonjangho Suspension Bridge, and Chilgapsan Auto Camping Site, featured local artists presenting a wide range of musical genres such as 70s and 80s ballads, folk songs, and pop music.

Music stages encountered unexpectedly in the forest provided a unique sense of inspiration, becoming a healing element that helped wash away the fatigue of travel.

The county also expanded this busking program into a non-face-to-face tourism content by streaming it live online. YouTube viewers responded by saying that they felt "healed even through the screen," and active sharing on social media significantly increased Cheongyang's recognition and favorability, especially among the MZ generation and family tourists.
