27 BRT Buses Feature Carbon Neutrality Slogans and Songs
In order to raise public awareness and promote everyday action for achieving carbon neutrality, a campaign featuring carbon neutrality and action slogans will be conducted on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) buses until September.
According to Sejong City on July 13, this campaign is being carried out as part of the 2025 Sejong City National Design Group’s policy pilot program. It aims to naturally convey to citizens the message that using public transportation directly contributes to carbon reduction.
On the windows of BRT buses, action slogans highlighting the necessity of carbon neutrality and the carbon reduction effects of using public transportation, along with QR codes, will be displayed. By scanning the QR code, passengers can listen to songs containing environmental protection messages created using artificial intelligence.
This initiative will be initially implemented on 27 buses operating on routes B2, B4, B6, and others. After analyzing citizen responses and participation effects, the campaign is planned to be expanded further.
Lee Yongil, Director of the Planning Coordination Office, stated, "Protecting the environment does not require grand gestures, but begins with small changes in our daily lives." He added, "Through this campaign, I hope many citizens will realize that the small actions we take today can come together to gift a greener Earth to future generations."
