Maximum Expected Rainfall of Up to 100mm in Jeonnam and Gyeongnam
On Monday, the 14th, the entire country is expected to be mostly cloudy, with rain falling in various regions and the heatwave expected to subside somewhat.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the skies will be cloudy nationwide on this day, with rain expected in some areas of the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungnam region, Jeolla region (excluding the eastern part), and Jeju Island.

As a tropical depression passes over the southern seas of Jeju, rain will continue in some areas until the early morning of the 15th.
The expected rainfall through the 15th is 20 to 60 mm in southern Gyeonggi, 10 to 40 mm in Seoul, Incheon, and northwestern Gyeonggi, 30 to 80 mm in Yeongdong and southern Yeongseo of Gangwon, and 20 to 60 mm in Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk.
In Jeonnam, excluding the northwestern part, 50 to 100 mm of rain is forecast, while Jeonbuk and Gwangju, as well as northwestern Jeonnam, are expected to receive 30 to 80 mm.
Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam are expected to receive 50 to 100 mm of rain, and Jeju Island is expected to receive about 30 to 80 mm.
On the 14th, the morning low is forecast to be between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high is expected to range from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
In central regions such as Seoul (29 degrees), Daejeon, and Sejong (28 degrees), the daytime high will remain below 30 degrees. Only in southern regions such as Gwangju, Daegu, and Seogwipo (30 degrees), and Jinju (31 degrees), is the temperature expected to exceed 30 degrees.
