Seongdong-gu to Operate "Youth Dream University Exploration" Program... Visits to Seoul National University, Yonsei University, and More

Seongdong-gu in Seoul will operate the "Youth Dream University Exploration Program" during the summer vacation, allowing students to experience university life in advance.

This program targets students from the second year of middle school to the second year of high school, as well as other youths of the same age group within the district. It is an experience-based career program designed to help participants explore and plan their future paths through on-site university visits.

This year's program will run six times from August 4 to August 6, 2025, during the summer vacation. Each session will accommodate 40 participants (30 for Yonsei University), with a total of 230 students. The universities to be visited are Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Chung-Ang University, and Kyung Hee University. Each participant will select one of these five universities to visit. Students will be grouped into teams of five and, together with university student mentors, will have the opportunity to participate in a campus tour, experience the student cafeteria, receive introductions to academic majors, and receive admissions counseling, gaining vivid, hands-on experience.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from July 14 to July 25, 2025, through a Naver Form (https://naver.me/5xa6ofSd).

Jung Wonoh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, stated, "I hope this will be an opportunity for children to experience the university environment firsthand and further develop their dreams," adding, "We will continue to strive to make Seongdong a happy educational city for youth by providing various field-oriented experiential activities."
