Touring Seven Regional Headquarters
"Enhancing Transparency in Industrial Accident Compensation"
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (President Park Jonggil) announced on July 11 that it operated the 'Visiting Integrity Promotion Headquarters' by touring seven regional headquarters nationwide from June 27 to July 11.
This initiative, conducted at the Gangwon, Gyeongin, Gwangju, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, and Seoul regional headquarters, is part of the '2025 Intensive Improvement Plan for Corruption-Prone Areas in Industrial Accident Compensation.'
The organization held direct meetings with department heads at each regional headquarters to discuss ways to enhance the transparency and efficiency of industrial accident compensation operations, and also carried out an integrity campaign led by the Standing Auditor.
The organization explained that through these on-site activities, it was able to promote a culture of integrity, strengthen communication between headquarters and regional offices, and broaden consensus on the direction of institutional improvements.
Kim Daewon, Standing Auditor, emphasized, "Integrity is the foundation of organizational culture, and the process of listening to voices in the field and finding solutions together is the starting point of proactive administration. I will do my utmost to reduce institutional blind spots and enhance public trust."
On June 30, Kim Daewon, Standing Auditor of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (fourth from the left), visited the Gyeongin Regional Headquarters (headed by Lee Gyocheol, fifth from the left) to conduct on-site integrity activities aimed at innovating industrial accident compensation work and practicing proactive administration.
