On July 11, Hanwha Investment & Securities announced that it has nominated Jang Byungho, Executive Vice President of Hanwha Life Insurance, as its new CEO in order to proactively respond to rapidly changing market conditions and explore new strategies.
Jang Byungho, the nominee for CEO, is a financial expert who joined Hanwha Investment & Securities in 1995 and has accumulated over 30 years of diverse experience in the group’s finance and strategy sectors. He gained global field experience at overseas branches such as Hanwha China (Beijing) and Hanwha Q CELLS (Shanghai), and further developed his expertise in the securities industry by serving as Head of the Overseas Business Team and Head of the Infrastructure Finance Team at Hanwha Investment & Securities. At Hanwha Life Insurance, he led organizational culture innovation as an executive in charge of the Management Support Team, and more recently, as the executive in charge of the Financial Vision Unit, he has played a key role in fostering synergy among financial affiliates, expanding global business, and driving digital innovation.
