The Donga University Office of Admissions, led by Director Jeon Jongbae, announced on July 11 that the event was held at BEXCO in Busan on July 1 and at Munsu Convention Center in Ulsan on July 3. Notably, this was the first time the event took place in Ulsan, drawing a positive response from local teachers.

During the conference, practical and detailed information for high school guidance was shared, including: disclosure of the 2025 admission results, an overview of key points for the 2026 admissions process, and guidance on evaluation directions and preparation strategies for student record-based admissions.

Donga University provided materials based on actual admissions officer evaluation data?such as statistics on successful applicants, criteria for document and interview assessments, and evaluation indicators for each admissions type?to enhance teachers' understanding and their ability to apply this knowledge in the field.

In addition, the university introduced its selection as a Glocal University 30, the current status of the RISE (Regional Innovation through University-Local Government Cooperation) initiative, the establishment of a new Department of Occupational Therapy, and the operation of the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies, explaining the university's ongoing changes and future strategies.

For teachers unable to attend the event, Donga University distributed the "2026 Admission Guidebook" to support them in providing future admissions guidance.

Jeon Jongbae, Director of Admissions, stated, "This conference was organized to provide practical support to teachers in the field so they can offer tailored career and admissions guidance to students. We will prioritize communication with the field and establish a system for sharing admissions information that enables high schools and universities to grow together."

Donga University has continued to provide opportunities for communication with teachers in Busan, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan every year, and is focusing on ensuring fairness and transparency in its admissions process by expanding face-to-face interactions between admissions officers and teachers.
