Through this agreement, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education aims to strengthen collaboration between public education and specialized entrepreneurship organizations, and to create an educational environment that cultivates practical entrepreneurial capabilities among youth. In particular, the agreement features a system that connects investment education with hands-on experience at the early stages.
The agreement includes: joint development of entrepreneurship and investment education programs for youth; expert mentoring; presentations of investment attraction materials and activities (IR, Investor Relations); discovery and growth support for youth startups; and sharing of entrepreneurship education and content networks. The two parties will pursue practical cooperation across various fields.
Superintendent Taehee Lim stated, "The true essence of education lies in students solving problems and taking on challenges independently based on what they have learned," adding, "I hope this agreement will serve as a starting point for vocational high school students in the province to gain self-directed entrepreneurial opportunities after graduation."
Starting in the second half of this year, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to pilot youth entrepreneurship and investment programs and develop them into educational models that can be expanded nationwide.
