IBK Changgong, the startup incubation platform of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, announced on July 11, 2025, that it has finalized the selection of 106 innovative startups for the second half of 2025 and will begin providing full-scale startup incubation program support.
This second half, a total of 106 innovative startups have been selected across seven hubs: the existing Mapo, Guro, Busan, Daejeon, Gwangju, and UNIST camps, as well as the newly launched IBK Changgong Daegu.
The selected companies include a number of startups leading advanced technologies and the latest trends, such as eco-friendly plasma coating process technology, quant investment solutions, and thin-film solar cells for aerospace applications.
IBK Changgong will operate an intensive incubation program for approximately five months to support the practical growth of the selected companies. Through in-depth diagnostics by expert groups, tailored growth strategies will be established for each company, and close support such as one-on-one dedicated mentoring, commercialization consulting, and IR pitching training will be provided.
In addition, IBK Financial Group will offer comprehensive support at each stage of startup growth, including investment and loan financial support, investment connections with domestic and international venture capital, collaboration and market development through open innovation with large and mid-sized companies, and global expansion through overseas desk connections.
An IBK Industrial Bank of Korea official stated, "The selected companies possess outstanding technological capabilities and market potential in their respective fields," adding, "We will strive not only for quantitative growth but also for qualitative growth of IBK Changgong companies."
Since its launch in 2017, IBK Changgong has supported the practical growth of startups, with many graduates achieving significant results such as large-scale investment attraction, global market entry, and IPOs.
