On July 10, Changwon National University held a plaque unveiling ceremony for 'Ukjae (旭宰) Hall,' named after the pen name of Jung Youngsik, chairman of Beomhan Group.
Chairman Jung, who also serves as the chairman of the Changwon National University Development Support Association, founded Beomhan Industry in 1990. He is currently focusing on the hydrogen industry, particularly hydrogen fuel cells, with Beomhan Fuel Cell at the center.
He has served as vice chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, chairman of the Masan Free Trade Zone Business Association, and chairman of the MBC Gyeongnam Viewers Committee. He is also active as chairman of the Changwon City Association of the National Unification Advisory Council. Through these roles, he has contributed to regional economic development and social responsibility.

The unveiling ceremony, held on the 4th floor of the BAC (the second university headquarters) main conference hall, was attended by Chairman Jung Youngsik, President Park Minwon, university executives, heads of local associations, and corporate representatives.
President Park stated, "We wish to eternally commemorate Chairman Jung's valuable actions and noble intentions for nurturing future talent and advancing Changwon National University by inscribing them on this plaque. Going forward, Changwon National University will do its utmost to uphold the public mission and responsibility of a regional national university, in line with the high ideals and values represented by the university development fund contributed by Chairman Jung."
