The residential officetel "Dongtan Hosu Park Daebang Elium Lake Park," constructed by Daebang Industrial Development in Dongtan 2 New Town, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, has successfully completed its non-priority subscription process amid strong public interest.
According to Korea Real Estate Board’s Cheongyak Home, during the two-day application period from July 9 (Wednesday) to July 10 (Thursday), a total of 81 applicants competed for the four available units of the exclusive 84㎡ OB type at Dongtan Hosu Park Daebang Elium Lake Park, resulting in a competition ratio of 20.25 to 1.
A sales representative stated, "Interest from potential buyers was driven by the fact that this is the last complex with views of Dongtan Hosu Park, as well as the planned transfer station for Dongtan Tram Lines 1 and 2 and the proposed extension of the Bundang Line, which together offer excellent transportation convenience." The representative added, "In addition, limited-time financial benefits such as a 20% deferred balance payment, two years of zero interest, a prepayment discount worth approximately 60 million KRW, and support for 50% of the acquisition tax, along with free premium options including high-end appliances and hotel-style interiors, are expected to lead to smooth contract completion following the subscription process."
Meanwhile, the complex is being praised for its design, which is considered a viable alternative to small apartments. The living room features a 2.5-meter tray ceiling and reinforced glass railings, maximizing both openness and views. In particular, the signature advantage of Dongtan Hosu Park Daebang Elium Lake Park?views of Dongtan Hosu Park (except for some units)?is expected to be even more accessible.
Various transportation developments are also expected to make wide-area travel, including to Seoul’s Gangnam district, more convenient. According to Hwaseong City Hall, a station serving both Dongtan Tram Lines 1 and 2 is planned near the complex, which will connect Suwon Mangpo to Osan and Byeongjeom to Dongtan 2 New Town. This will also provide access to Dongtan Station. Currently, high-speed rail (SRT) from Suseo and the GTX-A line are operating at Dongtan Station, and the Indeogwon Line is also planned for the future.
The announcement of successful applicants for the non-priority subscription is scheduled for July 17 (Thursday), with official contract signing to take place on July 18 (Friday) for one day.
