Gyeonggi Branch of Ministry of Employment and Labor Holds 'Safety Culture Promotion' Campaign at Yongin Technovalley Industrial Complex on July 10

The Gyeonggi Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor conducted a campaign on July 10 at the Yongin Technovalley General Industrial Complex to prevent heat-related illnesses and promote a culture of safety.


The campaign was held under the slogan "Water! Wind and Shade! Rest! Cooling Gear! First Aid! Let's protect our health," which highlights the five key rules for preventing heat-related illnesses. The event targeted workers, business owners, and the general public within the industrial complex.

The Gyeonggi Branch distributed leaflets on heat-related illness prevention and souvenirs featuring safety culture slogans at the site.


Oh Giwhan, head of the Gyeonggi Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, stated, "This campaign was organized to raise safety awareness among workers and the general public by spreading a culture of safety and to strengthen efforts to prevent heat-related illnesses during the summer." He also urged, "We ask that workplaces refer to the guidelines for preventing heat-related illnesses and manage workers' health so that no health issues occur due to heat waves."
