This training was designed to enhance the professionalism and credibility of the Social Service Quality Certification System. The curriculum focused on practical application and included: an explanation of the implementation system and indicators of the certification system; hands-on discussions on assessment criteria for each indicator area; and sharing of case studies from the 2024 certification assessments.

The 'Social Service Quality Certification System' aims to establish a quality management framework and standard guidelines for community social service investment providers, select and promote outstanding certified institutions, and provide information to enhance users' ability to choose services.

Last year, Busan Social Service Institute operated four professional examiners through a pilot project. This year, the institute expanded the workforce to 12 examiners, establishing a more stable foundation for operating the certification system. The newly trained professional examiners will participate directly in preliminary consulting and on-site assessments starting in July, serving as key personnel in implementing a regionally tailored quality management system.

Yoo Kyuwon, President of Busan Social Service Institute, stated, "This training marks an important starting point for enhancing the credibility of the Social Service Quality Certification System." He added, "By fostering examiners with field experience and expertise, we will contribute to the spread of social services that citizens can trust and utilize."
