The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on July 10 that it will hold a "Practical Training Course for Member Companies" on two separate occasions, July 14 and July 28.

This training, which will take place in the conference room on the 7th floor, will include not only lectures explaining key tax management issues, but also various practical applications of generative AI such as ChatGPT, focusing on understanding its principles. It is expected to provide an opportunity for employees in management, tax, and accounting departments to enhance their practical skills.

On July 14, a session titled "Tax Saving Strategies: Essential Tips That Tax Accountants Don't Tell You" will be offered for tax and accounting staff. The instructor, accountant Oh Jongwon, will lead the seven-hour course, which will be divided into sections covering detailed topics such as tax-saving strategies for bad debt VAT deductions in preparation for the 2025 first-term extended tax filing, tax management of business promotion expenses, and non-taxable regulations for withholding earned income.

The session on July 28, titled "Principles and Applications of ChatGPT from A to Z," will feature instructor Park Jihoon, author of "Teachers Learn ChatGPT First" and other works. This seven-hour course will focus on topics including document and thesis writing using generative AI, understanding and practicing prompt techniques, and hands-on exercises for prompt creation.

A representative from the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated, "We have structured the program to help participants master practical tax-saving strategies, focusing on issues that practitioners often find confusing, so we expect it to be very helpful. Through generative AI training, which is now widely used in business management and administrative work, we aim to strengthen the digital capabilities of our member companies."
