This program has been designed not only to explore domestic and international trends in the gaming industry, but also to introduce various careers related to games and to examine the game rating classification system. Participants will take on the role of a rating committee member and directly classify game ratings themselves. All activities will be conducted under the guidance of a professional game content instructor from the Game Rating and Administration Committee.
"Become the Eye of the Game!" is open for registration on a first-come, first-served basis through the National Library for Children and Young Adults website, and participation is free of charge. Detailed information about the program can be found on the library's website.
Park Jook, Director of the National Library for Children and Young Adults, stated, "We have prepared this program in order to become a library that actively embraces the areas of interest of children and young people," adding, "I hope this will be an opportunity for participants to broaden their knowledge of games through the library and to explore a variety of career paths with an expanded perspective."
Suh Taegeon, Chairman of the Game Rating and Administration Committee, said, "The Game Rating and Administration Committee operates rating classification experience programs so that users can develop the discernment and ability to choose games suitable for their age," and added, "Through cooperation with the National Library for Children and Young Adults, we will provide valuable educational content to young people and contribute to the spread of a healthy gaming culture."
