Dongshin University Career Plus Center announced on July 10 that it recently conducted a "NCS Basic Job Competency Enhancement Special Lecture" for current students and local youth.
This special lecture, held over two days in the university's Information and Computer Center classroom, was designed to help young people preparing for employment at public institutions and public enterprises gain a better understanding of the NCS and blind recruitment processes, and to boost their confidence through solving practical problems.
An external expert lecturer participated in the special lecture to provide practical job preparation strategies. On the first day, the topics covered included an overall understanding of the NCS and blind recruitment, how to write self-introduction letters for public enterprises, and methods for preparing for written exams and interviews. On the second day, the focus was on the seven core types of NCS basic job competency questions, as well as theoretical explanations and problem-solving for communication skills, numerical ability, and problem-solving ability.
Participants commented, "I was able to easily understand the NCS, which used to feel difficult, so I gained confidence in solving problems," and "It was a valuable time that provided practical help in preparing for employment."
Ahn Minju, head of the Career Plus Center, stated, "I hope this special lecture provided practical help to young people preparing for employment at public institutions," and added, "We will continue to operate a variety of customized programs to strengthen job competencies in the future."
