Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bokgyu) announced on July 9 that it will hold a summer discount event for the public delivery app 'Meokkebi' from July 9 to July 31, in order to promote the use of the app and boost local consumption.
During this event, users who place an order of at least 12,000 won through the Meokkebi web platform will receive a 3,000 won discount coupon, which can be used up to four times per person.
'Meokkebi' is a public delivery app introduced through public-private cooperation to reduce the commission burden on small business owners. It offers a lower intermediary commission rate (1.5%) compared to private delivery apps, and there are no separate registration or advertising fees.
Mobile Hwasun Sarang Gift Certificates are also accepted as a payment method.
Meokkebi can be used by downloading the app from the Google Play Store or App Store on a mobile phone and signing up for membership.
Park Yonghee, head of the Local Economy Division, said, "I hope this discount event will provide a small boost to the local economy," and added, "I would appreciate it if many people use the public delivery app 'Meokkebi,' which is a great help to the management stability of small business owners."
