On July 8, the county announced that it held a meeting at the county governor's office with the Jinan-Muju-Jangsu branch of the National Health Insurance Service to facilitate smooth project implementation and establish a collaborative system.
The core of this project is to identify high-risk groups in need of care, such as elderly individuals on the borderline of requiring admission to nursing hospitals, and to provide integrated and linked services in areas such as health, medical care, care, and housing.
The project will run for six months, from this month until December. During this period, the county plans to operate a customized integrated support system by establishing a collaborative system with the National Health Insurance Service and related organizations, deploying collaborative personnel for integrated support, and piloting a comprehensive assessment system.
The meeting was attended by Jinan County Governor Jeon Choonseong, Kim Eunjung, head of the Jinan-Muju-Jangsu branch of the National Health Insurance Service, Kim Minsu, head of the Jinan Long-Term Care Operations Center, and eight other related officials. They discussed the direction of the project and the roles of each organization.
The participants agreed to enhance the effectiveness of the project and contribute to improving the quality of life for county residents through close cooperation and information sharing.
Governor Jeon Choonseong stated, "This project is an important opportunity to advance the county's care system to the next level," and added, "We will work closely with the National Health Insurance Service and related organizations to create a successful model so that all residents can enjoy a healthy and dignified old age in their own communities."
