Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation Provides Financial Welfare Counseling to 320 Residents in First Half of the Year

Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation (hereafter Chungnam Sinbo) announced on July 9 that it held an interim report meeting for the "2025 Chungcheongnam-do Financial Welfare Support Project" in the main office conference room on July 8, reviewing the progress and achievements of the project in the first half of the year.

This meeting was organized as an interim review of the financial welfare support project currently being carried out by Chungnam Sinbo on behalf of Chungcheongnam-do. A total of eight people attended, including Yoo Jaecheon, Director of the Provincial Economic Policy Division, other officials from the provincial government, and Kang Taehee, Executive Director of Chungnam Sinbo.

In the first half of this year, Chungnam Sinbo provided customized services to financially vulnerable groups in the province, including comprehensive financial welfare counseling, debt adjustment consulting, and welfare support linked to employment. As a result, a total of 320 residents received practical assistance.

During the meeting, participants shared the results achieved in the first half of the year, outcomes from collaboration with partner organizations, and exemplary support cases. They also discussed operational directions for the second half of this year and for next year.

Yoo Jaecheon, Director of the Economic Policy Division, stated, "As more residents are suffering from financial difficulties recently, the province will continue to provide active administrative support."

Kang Taehee, Executive Director, said, "This project is providing real opportunities for recovery to residents whose lives have collapsed due to debt and delinquency," adding, "We will work to ensure that this becomes a sustainable welfare system rather than a one-time support measure."

Meanwhile, the Chungcheongnam-do Financial Welfare Counseling Center has been operating since March at two locations: Cheonan Eastern Center and Hongseong Western Center.

Any individual or self-employed person in the province suffering from excessive debt, delinquency, or collection issues can receive counseling and support.
