On the afternoon of July 8, BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) conducted an ESG and finance work experience program for 17 young job seekers in the Busan area. This program was organized in collaboration with the Busan Venture Business Association as part of the '2025 Future Tomorrow Work Experience Project (Company Exploration Type Work Experience)' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The program was designed to help young people explore career paths and strengthen their employability. Participants visited the Financial History Museum at Busan Bank headquarters to learn about the role and evolution of finance, and attended a special lecture on ESG industry job roles and recruitment trends. They also toured the BIFC financial district, gaining firsthand experience of the financial industry and exploring possible career directions.
In particular, the program went beyond a simple tour by providing opportunities for participants to meet with current professionals and receive mentoring. This offered practical advice and motivation regarding their career paths, receiving a highly positive response.

A representative from Busan Bank stated, "We prepared this program to provide real support for young people as they embark on new challenges," and added, "As the leading regional bank, we will continue to contribute to youth employment and address local issues."
According to the '2024 Bank Social Contribution Activities Report' published by the Korea Federation of Banks, BNK Busan Bank spent 59.9 billion KRW on social contribution activities last year despite difficult circumstances, ranking first among regional banks. This amount accounts for 14.6% of the bank’s net profit, reflecting the management philosophy of "returning profits earned in the region back to the region."
Going forward, Busan Bank plans to further expand its financial support and social contribution activities by establishing the 'Regional Economy Hope Center.'
