Cloud School Achieves Domestic and International Employment Success
AI Practical Projects... Supporting Career Growth
The Korea Radio Promotion Association announced on July 9 that it will launch the 'AWS Cloud School' and 'AWS AI School' in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to foster talent.
This training program is part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's K-Digital Training 'Digital and Advanced Industry Leading Company Academy' project, with AWS participating as a leading company and the Korea Radio Promotion Association serving as the operating institution.
The AWS Cloud School is about to open its 11th cohort. More than 200 trainees will be able to learn about containers, deployment systems, and key AWS technologies through a curriculum that covers core skills, including: basic knowledge of Linux and networking, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon VPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
Graduates of the AWS Cloud School have successfully secured employment at companies such as Samsung Electronics, KT, LG Uplus, SK, as well as at AWS Korea and overseas branches in Canada and Ireland, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training through both domestic and international employment success stories.
The two organizations will also introduce the AWS AI School to cultivate AI convergence talent. To nurture AI developers capable of infrastructure operations, the program will develop practical skills in areas such as: foundational knowledge of networking and Linux, core AWS Cloud services, frontend and backend development, integrated use of container and Kubernetes technologies, efficient web application development, and deployment and management.
As part of the projects, trainees will develop AI services based on machine learning and deep learning, and carry out projects to process and analyze complex language data using deep learning technologies specialized in NLP (Natural Language Processing). The goal is to foster convergence talent in cloud, container, and deep learning by enabling trainees to understand the principles of artificial intelligence and utilize generative AI.
Trainees will be provided with subscriptions to a variety of AWS online content and will receive full support for AWS official certification exam fees. In addition, the program will focus on identifying the latest technological needs of companies and problem-solving methods through hands-on projects based on mentoring by AWS employees. Career growth support will also be provided by connecting trainees to job fairs held for AWS partner companies.
The training period for the 11th AWS Cloud School and the 1st AWS AI School will run from July 22 to February 4 next year, with applications closing at 9 a.m. on July 14. Detailed information and applications are available on the Radio Promotion Association DX Campus website.
