Jinju City Holds Appointment Ceremony and Meeting for Investment and Contribution Institution Management Deliberation Committee

Contributing to Local Economic Development and Citizen Welfare
through Rationalization of Investment and Contribution Institution Management

Jinju City, South Gyeongsang Province, announced on July 9 that it held the appointment ceremony and meeting of the 'Jinju City Investment and Contribution Institution Management Deliberation Committee' in the city hall situation room.


The 'Jinju City Investment and Contribution Institution Management Deliberation Committee' deliberates and makes decisions on matters such as the validity of the establishment and operation of investment and contribution institutions and the evaluation of their management performance. The committee consists of three ex officio members, including Vice Mayor Cha Seokho as the chairperson, and ten appointed members.

During the event, appointment letters were presented to the ten appointed members. In the subsequent meeting, the committee finalized the evaluation results for the 2025 management performance (based on 2024 results) of five investment and contribution institutions under Jinju City, and approved the draft guidelines for the 2026 evaluation (based on 2025 results).


According to the 2025 management performance evaluation, which assessed the 2024 performance in terms of management administration and management outcomes, Jinju Bio Industry Promotion Institute received the highest grade, "Grade A." Jinju Welfare Foundation, Jinju Culture and Tourism Foundation, Jinju Commercial District Revitalization Foundation, and Jinju Root Industrial Complex Development received the excellent "Grade B." These institutions were recognized for enhancing their public responsibilities based on their founding purposes and for improving management efficiency. The results of the management performance evaluation will be reported to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and publicly disclosed in an integrated announcement.


A city official stated, "By conducting systematic and rational annual management performance evaluations of Jinju City's investment and contribution institutions, we will promote management efficiency and continuous improvement, establish a responsible management system, and contribute to the development of the local economy and the welfare of our citizens."
