Pest and disease control using unmanned helicopters is highly effective in covering large areas quickly and evenly, significantly reducing labor requirements and improving the efficiency of pesticide application. Especially considering the labor shortages in rural areas due to an aging population, joint control measures are expected to provide substantial support to local farmers.

An official from the county stated, "Control operations will begin sequentially from early July. We ask for particular attention and cooperation from beekeeping, livestock, eco-friendly, and greenhouse farms to prevent any damage from the pest control chemicals."

Meanwhile, Hapcheon County plans to continue expanding its pest and disease control support projects to prevent damage and reduce the economic burden on farmers.
