Eastar Jet announced on July 9 that it will conduct an open recruitment for entry-level and experienced aircraft maintenance engineers.
Applicants are required to possess an aircraft maintenance engineer license. Entry-level candidates must have a minimum TOEIC score of 650. For experienced positions, requirements include: experience as a B737NG certifying engineer; at least three years of B737NG maintenance experience; and at least six months of aircraft maintenance experience within the past 24 months.
The application deadline for entry-level positions is July 13, while experienced positions are open for ongoing recruitment. Further details can be found on the Eastar Jet recruitment website.
An Eastar Jet representative stated, "This recruitment is in response to the planned introduction of new aircraft and route expansion in the second half of this year." Eastar Jet plans to add five Boeing 737-8 aircraft in the second half of 2025, expanding its fleet to a total of 20 aircraft within the year. With the additional aircraft, the company also plans to increase frequency on key routes and launch new routes.
