Namwon City to Host Lecture by Architect Hyunjoon Yoo on the 22nd

Namwon City in North Jeolla Province (Mayor Choi Kyungsik) announced on July 8 that it will hold the Play Namwon Academy by inviting architect Hyunjoon Yoo at 7 p.m. on the 22nd at the Chunhyang Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater.

This lecture, under the theme "Reading Korea Through Spaces," will explore the hidden stories within cities and spaces, and will engagingly discuss how these spaces influence our lives, thoughts, and relationships.

Architect Hyunjoon Yoo graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Yonsei University, earned master's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard, and is currently a professor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Hongik University as well as the principal architect at Hyunjoon Yoo and Partners.

His books, including "What Do Cities Live By?" and "Where Will You Live?" have become bestsellers. He has also opened up new perspectives on understanding the world through cities and spaces by communicating with the public through various programs such as tvN's "Alssulsinjab Season 2" and KBS's "Myungkyunmanri."
