An 11-Day, 10-Night Journey Along the East Coast, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo
Covering 200 Kilometers Until July 17
Jeonju University held the launch ceremony for the "2025 Academic Year National Land Expedition" on July 7.
According to Jeonju University on July 8, the National Land Expedition is one of the university's signature annual events, designed to help students walk together toward a common goal, experience perseverance, cooperation, and a spirit of challenge, and foster personal growth and a sense of community.

This year's expedition includes a total of 29 students, who will embark on an 11-day, 10-night journey along the East Coast, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, covering nearly 200 kilometers, until July 17.
On July 16, the participants will visit Dokdo, a precious territory of the Republic of Korea, to cultivate patriotism and historical awareness, and will also experience the culture and nature of the Ulleungdo region.
Choi Euiji, president of the student council, stated, "The National Land Expedition is not only a challenge against oneself, but ultimately a journey where we hold each other's hands and go all the way together. Even in difficult moments, we will support one another, and I hope this will be a special time to experience the values of sharing, consideration, and growth through the process of walking together."
Meanwhile, Jeonju University is actively supporting students so that they can experience the values of a spirit of challenge, cooperation, and self-overcoming through this National Land Expedition. The university also plans to continue strengthening its role in fostering student growth and engaging with the local community through a variety of extracurricular programs.
