On July 8, Cho Seungrae, spokesperson for the National Policy Planning Committee, announced at a briefing held at the Changseong-dong Annex of the Government Complex Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul, "We will establish the Climate and Energy TF to quickly formulate action items and implementation plans for national policy tasks by coordinating opinions among subcommittees."

Spokesperson Cho explained, "National policy tasks related to climate and energy will be discussed by nearly all subcommittees, including Economic Subcommittees 1 and 2, Social Subcommittee 2, and the Foreign Affairs and National Security Subcommittee." He added, "The TF will focus on coordinating national policy tasks among subcommittees, climate change adaptation, and policies related to energy."

The National Policy Planning Subcommittee plans to hold a meeting to establish an implementation plan for national policy tasks related to rental fraud, during which it will review the current status of ongoing policies and support for victims.

The Political and Administrative Subcommittee plans to visit the Seoul Situation Center in the afternoon to hold an inspection meeting to discuss disaster management measures and safety management plans for summer disasters such as heat waves and flood damage.

The Foreign Affairs and National Security Subcommittee will hold a meeting with the National Intelligence Service on economic security and industrial security on the same day, where it will discuss current issues in economic security as well as the status and response to the leakage of core technologies, including those in the defense industry.

Meanwhile, spokesperson Cho also stated that the prosecution's work report would not have any significant impact on the selection of the 100 key national policy tasks of the Lee Jaemyung administration. Cho said, "There has been no definitive decision on whether or not to receive the prosecution's work report," but added, "It is not considered essential for organizing the national policy tasks."
