Subscription Applications Open from July 14
The Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on July 8 that it will begin selling public housing units in the Goyang Janghang S-1 block in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
This complex was highly sought after, recording a competition ratio of about 17 to 1 during the advance subscription process in 2021. Of the total 869 units available, 708 units will be allocated to those who were selected in the advance subscription.
The Goyang Janghang S-1 block, for which the tenant recruitment notice was released on June 30, consists of a total of 869 units. Of these, 38 units are available for general sale, while the remaining units are allocated to advance subscription winners (708 units) and special supply (123 units). There are two exclusive floor area options: 59 square meters and 84 square meters. By housing type, there are 95 units of the 59 type, 754 units of the 84 type, and 20 units of the 84T type.
The price ceiling system applies to this sale, setting the price at approximately 17.5 million won per 3.3 square meters. The average sale price is around 430 million won for the 59 square meter type and about 604 million won for the 84 square meter type.
The application process will begin on July 14. Advance subscription winners can apply on July 14 and 15, special supply applications will be accepted on July 16 and 17, and general supply applications will be accepted on July 18. The winners will be announced next month, and contracts will be signed in October. Move-in is scheduled for March 2028.
The transportation environment is excellent. Subway Line 3 Madu Station and GTX-A Kintex Station are nearby. Jayu-ro, the Second Jayu-ro, and the Seoul Metropolitan Area First Ring Expressway are also in close proximity. The area also offers a good educational environment, with Goyang Janghang Kindergarten and an elementary school nearby.
The living infrastructure is also outstanding. Traders Wholesale Club, Hyundai Department Store, Ilsan Paik Hospital, and the National Cancer Center are all close by. Ilsan Lake Park and Janghang Wetland are also in the vicinity. The Goyang Janghang district is gaining attention as a self-sufficient city with close proximity to workplaces, being near Ilsan Techno Valley and the Broadcasting and Media Valley.
