Audi Korea announced on July 8 that it has appointed Song Seungguk (pictured) as the new Executive Director of Sales.
Song has built expertise across key areas of the imported car business, having worked for a long time at major imported car brands and in the automotive industry. He has accumulated experience in various fields, including sales, supply chain, dealership operations, and overseeing pre-delivery centers for new vehicles. Most recently, he served as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at the used car platform Cheka, where he led strategic planning and organizational innovation.
This year, Audi Korea is accelerating its brand transformation by sequentially introducing strategic models such as the all-electric SUV Audi Q6 e-tron, as well as the Audi A5 and Q5, which feature the latest PPC platform. The company explained that this appointment is a strategic move to strengthen market leadership and drive service innovation by enhancing sales capabilities.
Steve Clotie, CEO of Audi Korea, stated, "Song's outstanding field experience and strategic perspective will play a key role in accelerating customer-centric sales innovation," adding, "We will strengthen our sales competitiveness and solidify our position in the market based on close cooperation with our dealers."
Song commented, "To meet the heightened expectations of Korean customers, I will further enhance the brand's competitiveness through customer-tailored sales strategies based on attractive products." He added, "Through newly launched models such as the Audi A5 and Audi Q5, as well as a variety of new models to be introduced in the future, I will further solidify Audi's premium value and do my utmost to provide customer-centric sales services."
