Hana Securities Launches 'Overseas Stock Festival' Event

Hana Securities announced on July 8 that it will hold the "Overseas Stock Collateral Loan Reward Festival" event, offering preferential interest rates on overseas stock collateral loans and up to $500 in U.S. stock purchase coupons until the end of September.

Accordingly, customers who apply for the integrated margin service at Hana Securities and take out an overseas stock collateral loan for the first time will receive a preferential annual interest rate as low as 3.90% for up to 180 days. The preferential interest rate applies to overseas stocks rated from grade A to grade C, based on the risk level of each stock. In addition, the first 500 customers who take out a collateral loan of at least 10 million won will receive a 10,000 won department store gift certificate.

During the same period, Hana Securities will also run an event that provides up to $500 in U.S. stock purchase coupons for customers who transfer overseas stocks from other securities firms. Customers who transfer overseas stocks worth at least 10 million won from other securities firms to Hana Securities will receive U.S. stock purchase coupons ranging from a minimum of $30, depending on the amount transferred.
