VD Company Changes Name...New Start as "VD Robotics"

"Will Become a Global Service Robotics Platform Company"

VD Company announced on July 8 that it has changed its name to "VD Robotics" and unveiled a new corporate identity (CI), further strengthening its identity as a specialized service robotics company.

The new company name reflects the company's ambition to go beyond simply selling and operating service robots, and to take a leading role in building a "service robotics" ecosystem that encompasses hardware, software, platforms, and user-friendly operation and maintenance technologies.

Additionally, the company has set a vision to become a "global service robotics platform company connecting robots to daily life" by 2030, and plans to lead the establishment of new market standards.

VD Robotics' new brand identity is "Service Robotics Innovator," expressing the company's vision to become a leader in robotics service innovation.

The newly unveiled CI incorporates an infinity (∞) motif, visually representing the company's future vision of connecting people and robots through two circles and creating infinite value through these connections.

With this name change, VD Robotics plans to expand its business into "smart FM solutions," which will innovate labor-intensive facility management (FM) sectors such as cleaning, parking, security, delivery, guidance, and advertising through robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). The company will accelerate the development of parking robots, floor cleaning robots, and exterior wall cleaning robots.
