Reflecting the 'Sober Life' Trend
Blending Pomelo Aroma with Lemon and Carbonation
Dunkin', operated by B-R Korea, announced on July 8 that it has launched the 'Hite Zero Alcohol Coolata (for adults)' as its beverage of the month for July in collaboration with HiteJinro Beverage.
Dunkin' reinterpreted HiteJinro Beverage's non-alcoholic drink as its signature Coolata product, in response to the growing 'sober' trend among younger consumers who enjoy alcohol in a lighter way.
The 'Hite Zero Alcohol Coolata (for adults)' blends the 'Hite Zero 0.00' product with a pomelo-flavored base developed by Dunkin', allowing customers to enjoy both the sweet and refreshing aroma of tropical pomelo and the cool texture of crushed ice. Lemon juice and a hint of carbonation are also added. It is released as a non-alcoholic beverage for adults with 0.00% alcohol content.
A Dunkin' representative said, "With the rising popularity of non-alcoholic beverages, we have introduced a new limited-edition Coolata for summer that offers a unique experience for the younger generation enjoying a sober lifestyle."
Dunkin' is also showcasing a summer pairing concept by launching the 'Crunch Caramel Honey Peanut' donut earlier this month, which goes well with refreshing drinks.
