Support for Rebate Application Consultations
On July 8, Lotte Hi-Mart announced that it will offer customers up to 1 million won in discounts this month when purchasing high-efficiency products such as refrigerators, washer dryers, and air conditioners, in line with the government's "Top Efficiency Home Appliance Rebate Program."
The Top Efficiency Home Appliance Rebate Program is a government initiative that provides a 10% subsidy on the total price of high-efficiency home appliances in 11 categories, including air conditioners, refrigerators, and TVs, with a maximum of 300,000 won per person, available to all citizens.
Lotte Hi-Mart sells over 400 high-efficiency home appliance models from various brands. In line with the government program, the company is offering discounts on select high-efficiency appliances such as refrigerators, washer dryers, and air conditioners at more than 310 stores nationwide. As a representative promotion, customers who purchase both the Samsung Electronics "Bespoke AI Hybrid Refrigerator" and "Bespoke AI Combo Washer Dryer" event models together will receive a 1 million won discount. In addition, customers who purchase event models such as the Samsung Electronics "Wind-Free Gallery Air Conditioner" (for 66m² and 82.5m² spaces) and "Bespoke AI Combo Washer Dryer" will receive an instant discount of up to 300,000 won.
The company has also prepared promotional products offered at the lowest prices of the year in stores. The Samsung Electronics "Bespoke AI Combo Washer Dryer" event model is available for 3,999,000 won, the Samsung Electronics "QLED 4K 85-inch TV" event model for 3,590,000 won, the Carrier "Dehumidifier (16L)" event model for 279,000 won, and the LG Electronics "Objet Collection Kimchi Toktok" kimchi refrigerator event model for 1,960,000 won.
Lotte Hi-Mart plans to inform customers, especially for installation appliances such as air conditioners and refrigerators, that these products are eligible for the rebate program. Installation technicians will notify customers and guide them to take photos of the required energy efficiency label and serial number in advance as supporting documents. In stores, staff will also provide information about eligible products and the application process. For customers who find the application process complicated, store employees will assist directly with the application if the customer brings the required documents to the store after the program opens in August.
Kim Seunggeun, Head of Promotions at Lotte Hi-Mart, said, "We will provide maximum support to ensure that customers who purchase top-efficiency home appliances can use the rebate system easily and conveniently, and we will continue to prepare related promotions so that customers can receive additional discounts."
