Cha Inpyo to Meet Yecheon Residents... Anticipation High for Successful 2025 Yecheon County Citizens Academy

A Book Concert Lecture Delivering Comfort and Insight

Yecheon County, Gyeongbuk, will hold the 3rd Yecheon County Citizens Academy on July 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Yecheon County Culture Center, inviting actor and writer Cha Inpyo as a guest speaker.

Cha Inpyo to Meet Yecheon Residents... Anticipation High for Successful 2025 Yecheon County Citizens Academy Yecheon County, Gyeongbuk, will hold the 3rd Yecheon County Citizens Academy in 2025, inviting writer Cha Inpyo.

This academy will be held under the theme "What Happens to Us in a Day" and will take the form of a book concert. Through numerous works such as "Their Day," "Today's Forecast," and "Goodbye Hill," Cha Inpyo has conveyed moving insights and a warm perspective on life and the human mind through literature, touching many readers.


Yecheon County expects that this lecture will provide residents with an opportunity to reflect on the value of everyday life and to gain a new perspective on life. In particular, it is anticipated to contribute to the creation of a healthy community culture by expanding emotional empathy among members of the local community.


Kim Hakdong, Governor of Yecheon County, said, "I hope this academy will be an opportunity for residents to once again cherish the gift-like time of a day," and added, "I hope it will be a meaningful time to find comfort and courage in the heartfelt stories of writer Cha Inpyo."


The lecture is free for all Yecheon County residents, and advance registration is available through the Yecheon County Lifelong Learning Center website or the Lifelong Education Team of the Yecheon County Office General Affairs Division.


The Yecheon County Citizens Academy has established itself as an open lecture platform that combines knowledge, emotion, and culture, serving as a flagship project to enhance the cultural capacity of residents and strengthen Yecheon’s status as a lifelong learning city.
