This program is jointly organized by Gumi City and the Gumi Industry Technology Information Center (headed by Jo Geumwon) under the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation of Kumoh National Institute of Technology. The training is targeted at CEOs and executives of SMEs in the Gumi area, and covers topics directly related to business management, including global industry trends, changes in government policy, technology and patent trends, and digital transformation strategies.

Notably, the program is not focused on theory, but rather on practical training based on strategies and real cases implemented by large corporations, providing insights that can be immediately applied in the corporate field.

The city plans to grant additional points to companies that participate in at least three sessions of this training program when they apply for technology and commercialization support projects.

This support project offers practical benefits, including consulting, certification, and marketing support of up to 3 million won per company. As such, completing the training is expected to directly contribute to strengthening business competitiveness.

Companies can apply to participate in the training through the Gumi City Business Support IT Portal or the Kumoh National Institute of Technology website, and may also contact the Gumi Industry Technology Information Center for inquiries.

Kim Jangho, Mayor of Gumi, stated, "This program goes beyond simply providing information. It offers practical strategies for Gumi companies to stay ahead during this period of industrial ecosystem transition," adding, "I expect it will greatly help local companies improve their fundamentals and secure new growth engines."
